Our impact report
2024
Why we became a B Corp
As a husband-and-wife led business, we already had sustainably values at heart that were trickling into office life.
We were already taking the orange peelings and tea bags home for the compost, sorting out the soft plastic and paper recycling, proactively seeking environmentally better supplies and instilling a sustainable culture.
We felt, that certifying as a B Corp organisation would help us leverage a great framework to accelerate the change we wanted to make and have an impact by using Waggle Design as a force for good.
Our journey so far
Whilst this isn’t our first, official annual Impact report, we wanted to put a stake in the ground and measure where we were starting from.
The B Impact Assessment has embedded the 5 impact areas into our business strategy, values, culture and engagement initiatives.
It is shaping our energies to align with the B Corp movement and to help spread the word for better business.
We had already been doing this by:
-
Joining the Herts Chamber of Commerce
-
Participating in local EcoBerko Business Hub group
-
Supporting local schools with careers guidance
-
Providing local student work experience and shadowing

Final words
Without a doubt, joining the global B Corp movement has been a significant milestone in Waggle’s history.
We know that being on this journey will bring more added-value to our client and supplier relationships, enable us to engage more with our local community, and enable us to drive real, positive, measurable impact across the 5 impact areas.
The journey ahead is not an easy one, but we are ready to tackle any challenges head-on to keep us driving forward, doing the best that we can.
We can’t wait to see where our path takes us and the views along the way.
